MAKING CITY in Groningen!
Last week we welcomed a special delegation from MAKING-CITY (Making City – Energy efficient pathway for the city transformation) from Rostock, Germany. MAKING-CITY is a project that investigates the possibilities for Positive Energy Districts (PED), these are urban areas where at least as much energy is generated as consumed on an annual basis.
We are proud to announce that the Media Center (Media center – The business center in Groningen one of the PEDs of Groningen. We looked at why the Mediacentrale is part of this and visited Corre Energy who is working on innovations in this area in this building.
